Brobdingnag
After being stranded by his crew on the island of Brobdingnag, where all the natives are twelve times Gulliver's size, much more satire starts to appear.
First, though it has nothing to do with America, Gulliver begins to notice the imperfections of the human body. I suppose this could be linked back to America in the case that other nations that, at one time or another, looked up to the United States and may have began to notice the imperfections, or the "mistakes" with the United States and our policies.
Another thing that could be easily be seen as satire for both England & Brogdingnag and America & the Middle East. Well more of a comparison really but the king of Brogdingnag interpreted the things that Gulliver said about England, believing he was idolizing Britain, and looked down on the country. With America and the Middle East we try to assimilate our culture and try to make it appear like it is the best culture in the world, as Gulliver did. But the people of Iraq, Afghanistan and other Middle East countries, see our culture as idiotic, giving women rights, treating them like humans, some Middle East countries look down on these ideas. The king of Brogdingnag looked down on the picture that Gulliver had given him of Britain because of him stating the invention of cannons and gunpowder, making the European country appear to be savage and ignorant.
